Any person travel abroad can take 10000 rupees with himReserve bank of India increased the limit of taking indian currency with him while travelling abroad. Earlier the limit was 7500 rupees which is increased to 10000. RBI issued a circular no. 39 dated 6 September 2013 regarding import and export of currency.
